Joy Marie Gorsha, age 67, passed away on June 20, 2026. She was born on January 29, 1959, in Morgan City, LA to John and Lessie Gorsha. She was known for being the spice of life. She lived fishing and birdwatching. She loved her children and grandchildren with all of her heart and will be missed dearly. Rest in peace "Jammy."

Joy is survived by her children, Chelsea LeBlanc, Emily Aucoin, Ashly Jarvis and Christian Jarvis; two brothers, John R. Gorsha Sr. and Roger Gorsha; and seven grandchildren, Cheyenne LeBlanc, Cameron Aucoin, Lessie Aucoin, Ava Aucoin, Thea Aucoin, Royce Fryou, and Evelyn Gerald.

Joy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lessie Gorsha; and one brother David Gorsha.
