Juanita Brizzard Grizzaffi

Juanita “Gran” Brizzard Grizzaffi, 83, a resident of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the Carpenter House in Lafayette.

Juanita was born on September 1, 1938 in Morgan City the daughter of Alfred K. Brizzard Sr. and Nola Michel Brizzard.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter, Roslyn Naquin of Scott; two grandchildren, Sarah Michel Naquin and her significant other Luke Foret and Ian Lucas Naquin and significant other Bethani Speyrer; one brother, Alfred K. Brizzard Jr. of Lafayette.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lucas Peter Grizzaffi; one daughter, Frances Marie Grizzaffi; one sister, Virginia Broussard.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Henry Sebastian celebrating the Mass. Juanita was laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
