Kathryn B. Shirey

Kathryn B. Shirey, 76, passed away on November 5, 2023, in Morgan City, LA.
 
Kathryn is survived by husband - Larry D. Shirey, sons - James (Tifffany) Shirey and Larry (Kathryn) Shirey. Granchildren - Addie, Sophie, Ryan, Maggie and Grey.
 
Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents- George and Hilda Blanchard. 

Kathy enjoyed spending time with her five beautiful grandchildren and cheering on the LSU Tigers with her two sons. She was a devoted mother and wife, and throughout her life, she was a steadfast and caring friend to all who were blessed to meet her. Kathy will leave behind a true spirit of love, kindness, and family.

A visitation will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 10:00am until 11:00am.  A Mass of Chritian Burial will commence at 11:00am.  Burial will follow in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
