Kay Gaspar DeHart

Kay Gaspar DeHart, age 90, a native and resident of Berwick, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

Kay is survived by her children, Terry Gaspar (Denise), Susan Adams, and Tim Gaspar (Debbie); her grandchildren, Melissa Arceneaux (Kevin), Jeff Gaspar (Lauren), Brad Adams (Bridgett), Kristi Adams, Matt Gaspar (Jenna), and Macey Wade (Shanon); her great-grandchildren, Jack (Patsy), Jake (Amelia), Daniel, Brock, Alexis, Joseph, Cruz, Breia, Avery, Kaden, and Beckett; her brother, Robert Francis; her step-children, Randy, Janet, Ruthie, and Carol; and her best friend, Marie Fromenthal.

Kay was preceded in passing by her first husband and father of her children, Louis Gaspar, Jr.; her second husband, Minous DeHart; her parents, Victor Francis and Victoria White Francis; her four brothers and 1 sister; her son-in-law, Glenn Adams.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation in honor of Kay on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 10:00a.m. until the Funeral Service at 1:00p.m. Kay will be laid to rest in Berwick Cemetery.

Kay was known for her warm nature and her unwavering love for her family. She cherished nothing more than cooking for her loved ones, especially baking her special Christmas cookies each holiday season. Kay also had a fondness for visiting the casino, and she was an avid Donald Trump supporter. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

The family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation to the staff of the Critical Care Unit at Thibodaux Medical Center and Dr. Melancon for their care and compassion for Mrs. Kay.
