Laverne Burns

Laverne Marie LeBlanc Burns, 62, a native of Morgan City, Louisiana and resident of Berwick, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023.

Laverne is survived by her husband, Billy M. Burns; her son, Brent Burns and wife, Lindsay; her daughter, Jennifer B. Aucoin and husband, Rickey; her grandchildren, Blake Burns, Reece Burns, Lylah Grace, Jase Aucoin, Camryn Aucoin and Chloe Aucoin; and her beloved dog, Hank.

Laverne was proceeded in death by her parents, Davis LeBlanc and Florence LeBlanc Seyferlich; her brother, Roy LeBlanc; her sisters, Verda Duhon and Myrna Adams.

Laverne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to cook for her friends and family, camping and going to the hunting camp with her husband. She loved caring for others, especially her children and grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.
