Linda Romero Chaisson

Linda Romero Chaisson, 72, a resident of Franklin, passed away peacefully, Monday, March 15, 2021 at home, surrounded by her loving family.  

Linda was born January 9, 1949, in Morgan City, the daughter of Joseph Romero and Laura Lombas Romero.

Linda would help anyone that was in need; she would give the shirt off her back if that’s what it took. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and loved spending time with her family. Linda was very intact with her faith; she enjoyed watching church services on T.V. and listening to Christian music.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her three children, Jason Rogers and significant other, Janiene Holgate of Franklin, Stacy Ayliffe of Morgan City, Douglas Ayliffe and wife Holly of Morgan City; one sister, Josephine LaCoste of Bayou Vista; five grandchildren, Cody Rogers, Jason Rogers Jr., Shawn Holgate Rogers, Chrissy Terry, Jozetta “Josie” Juarez; eight great-grandchildren.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Laura Romero; five brothers; four sisters; significant other, her one true love, Jim Moffett.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Twin City Funeral Home, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
