Lynrose C. Mula

Lynrose Cabrini Mula, 86, passed away peacefully, Monday, April 13, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness.

The eldest of six children of the late Frank Mula, Sr., and the late Corinne P. Mula of Morgan City.

Lyn was born on May 29, 1939.

She is survived by two sisters, Geraldine Mula and Kathleen Mula, both who lived with her in Houma. She also has three brothers, Frank Mula, Jr., (Carol O. Mula) of Ponchatoula, Donald Mula (Evelyn T. Mula) of Morgan City, and Michael Mula (the late Deborah G. Mula) of Harahan.

Always the loving, caring, generous, person, Lyn helped care for all her siblings, a role she enjoyed up until her passing. Lyn began her long career in the oil industry first with Keer-McGee Corporation, eventually retiring from Shell Oil Co.

Lyn is survived by many loving and caring nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Brett Lapeyrousse officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Twin City Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m., until 10:30 a.m. After Mass, Lyn will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
