Mabel Rodrigue Griffin
February 3, 1933 — October 26, 2021
Mabel Rodrigue Griffin, 88, a resident of Morgan City, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Legacy Nursing Home in Franklin.
Mabel was born February 3, 1933, the daughter of Louis Rodrigue Sr. and Eldonia Perrara Rodrigue.
Mabel retired from Sears and Finance Service after 20 years.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her three sons, Mark Griffin, Chris Griffin and wife Robin, Brian Griffin and wife Crystal; one daughter, Debbie Stanley and husband Rick; one brother, Lindsey Rodrigue and wife Chris; one sister, Loretta Gros; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Mabel was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Eldonia Rodrigue; two brothers and two sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 29, 2021, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Brett Lapeyrouse officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 at Holy Cross Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. After Mass, Mabel will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
