Mable Marie Fryou

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mable Marie Fryou, aged 80 who departed this life on July 6, 2025 in Morgan city La. Mable was born on November 16 th 1944 in West Point, Georgia.

Mable loved sewing and playing bingo. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dog buddy.

Mable was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She is survived by her devoted husband Curtis ( T-boy) Fryou ; her daughter Cathy Ives and partner Brent; and her three sons, William and partner Noreen, Joseph and wife JoAnn, and Gary and wife Bonnie; one stepson, Dominick Fryou and wife Regina. Mable was a proud sister to Nancy Meranto. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Nick Jr., Chad, Savana, William Jr.(Lil Willy), Joseph(Joby Jr.), Ryan, Gary Jr.(Gary J.), Brandon, Dylan, and Dalton, as well as her cherished great grandchildren: Noah, Ashton, Paul, Julia, Gavin, Dean, Cole, Roxy, Megan, Keden, Finn, Rylee and Olivia.

Mable was preceded in death by her parents, William and Juanita DeLee, one sister Shirley DeLee, and her nephew Micheal Meranto.

Visitation will take place at twin city funeral home on July 9th, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m.

Visitation will resume at St Andrew Catholic Church on July 10, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m. The burial will follow the mass at St. Andrew Cemetery in Amelia.
