Margaret A. Williams, passed away on July 19, 2025, in Morgan City, LA at the age of 84. She was born on May 29, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York to Agnes and Edgar Peters.

Following her retirement from the St. Mary Council on Aging, Marge enjoyed her time spent in the Bayou Vista Garden Club, book club, and her regular dinners out with close friends.

She is survived by daughter Linda Haines of Littleton, MA and son Kenny Williams (Lisa) of Patterson, LA; grandchildren Melissa Haines Schneider (Matt) of Jersey City, NJ; Philip Mark Haines (Roxanne) of Sugarland, TX; Scott Joseph Haines (Lacey) of Caramel, CA; Abby Elizabeth and Kate Marie Williams of Patterson, LA. Three great grandchildren: Maddie and Lincoln Schneider; and August Scott Haines.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John A. Williams; daughter Debra Dunn and granddaughters Tina Rumsey and Meredith Haines.

The family would like to thank the staff at Maison Jardin of Morgan City and ACG Hospice for the love and care they provided.

A Memorial Service will take place from 10 am to 12 noon on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Twin City Funeral Home. Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.
