Marie Louise Toups

Marie Louise Toups, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, at the age of 99. Born on March 4, 1926, in Patterson, LA, Marie dedicated her life to being a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, finding joy in the everyday moments and the relationships she cherished.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Betty Fabre, and her son, Larry Toups, 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 19 great great grandchildren and grand fur babies, who will carry on her legacy of kindness and perseverance. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and the countless lives she touched.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Toups, Parents, Annette Besse and Charles Besse, son, Louis "Pap" Toups

Friends and family can come together to celebrate Marie's life during a public viewing at Twin City Funeral Home on September 12, 2025, starting at 8:00 AM until 10:45 AM. Following the viewing, a Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Marie will be laid to rest in a burial service at 12:00 PM, where we will gather to honor her memory and the love she shared with all of us. In this time of remembrance, let's come together not just to grieve, but to share stories and celebrate the wonderful life Marie lived.
