Marilyn Rock

Marilyn Rock, affectionately known as Maw Maw, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Chabert’s Medical Center in Houma.

Marilyn was born November 2, 1961, in Starke, Florida.

Marilyn had a green thumb and loved being outside tending to her flowers. She loved her daughters, Chantel and Josilyn, and enjoyed cooking a meal and spending time with them and her grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 20 years, Thomas Davis III; two daughters, Chantel Pearson and husband Aaron, Josilyn Boyd and husband Marcus; six grandchildren, Trent, Nick, Abigayle, (Jack) Ryanne (Dane Jr.), Braelyn, and Andi; three great grandchildren, Evie, Samson, Quinnlee; numerous nieces and nephews, especially, Christina and Nathan.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her mother, Netta Johnson; her unborn baby boy, her dog Roxie and numerous siblings.

Keeping with her wishes, Marilyn will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at Lake End Park Saturday April 25th from 3 pm - 5 pm.
