Marty Allen Arnaud

Marty Allen Arnaud, 53, a resident of Berwick, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Passages Hospice in New Orleans.

Marty was born on March 7, 1967 in Arnaudville, the son of Mac Arthur Arnaud and Rita Marks Arnaud.

Marty loved his family and cherished the time that he was able to spend with them. He enjoyed cooking for his family and his signature dish for them was gumbo. He also enjoyed playing foosball and going fishing with his friends.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Layne Michael Arnaud and fiancé Mallory of Bayou L’Ourse; two grandchildren, Brooklyn Arnaud and Carson Arnaud; his mother, Rita Marks Arnaud of Berwick; two brothers, Keith Arnaud and wife Christine of Houma and Chad Arnaud of Berwick; three nephews, Kody Arnaud, Kendall Arnaud and Scotty Arnaud; numerous great nieces and nephews.

Marty was preceded in death by his father, Mac Arthur Arnaud; maternal and paternal grandparents.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2020 in the Morgan City Cemetery, with Monsignor J. Douglass Courville officiating.
