Marvin Cavett, born on April 24, 1944, in Jonesboro, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at home on June 22, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Marvin is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Cavett; his daughters, Lisa Landry and Jennifer Cavett; and his cherished grandchildren, Ryan Alleman, Hayden Landry, and Lailah Cavett. He also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Bentley Alleman and Acesen Alleman, who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by one brother, two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Blanche Cavett.
