Mary Provost Tabor

Mary Provost Tabor, 77, of Amelia, LA, passed away May 24, 2025, leaving behind cherished memories and a life woven with dedication to family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Pearl Gros Provost; her sister, Elizabeth “Ann” Provost Hebert; her brothers, James Provost, Johnnie Provost, and Roy Provost; her former husband, Alvin Collins Jr.; her husband, Wayne Breaux; and her husband, Percy Tabor.

She will be missed and remembered by her daughter, Monica Collins Aleman and husband José; her sons, Charles Collins and wife Susan, and Jeremy Breaux; her grandchildren, David, Ashton, Bridgette, Catlin, and Brooke; 14 great-grandchildren and a close-knit group of nieces, nephews and friends. 

The family would like to thank all nurses and staff at Ochsner St. Mary Hospital in Morgan City, particularly the ICU staff, Morgan City Dialysis Center staff, and Dr. Natalie Dishman, for the wonderful loving care they gave to Mary and her family. 

Mary’s presence shaped the lives of those around her, and while she is no longer here, her memory will remain with family and friends. Service information will be announced at a later date.
