Michael Paul Black

Michael Paul Black, 34, a resident of Patterson, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024. 

Michael was born July 17, 1989, in Morgan City, the son of Chris Black and Kim Crappell Black.

Michael enjoyed shooting pool with his friends and fishing, he loved being outdoors, but he mostly enjoyed spending time with his boys. 

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Cherie Beadle Black of Patterson; two sons, Saven Black and Axton Black; parents, Chris and Alaina Black of Morgan City; brother, Brennan Black and wife Lacie; sister, Olivia Black, and brother, Talen Black, both of Morgan City; two nieces, Kimley Black and Kora Black; nephew, Beckett Black; beloved grandmother, Betty Black, grandparents; Monica and David Acosta Sr., Douglas and Katrina Leftwich; in laws, Jane and Jeff Beadle; brother-in-law, Brandon and wife Melissa; sister-in-law; Kaitlyn; nephews Beau and Maddox. 

Michael was Preceded in death by his son, Ridge Black; mother, Kim Crappell Black; two brothers, Brendan Verrett and Tyler Black; grandparents, Junius and Claudette Crappell, and Frank Black.
