Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, Mona Boudreaux Siracusa, 66, who left this world on June 17, 2026, in her hometown of Morgan City, Louisiana. Born on December 19, 1959, Mona spent her life surrounded by the beauty of her family, always brightening their days with her infectious happiness and unwavering support.

As a proud homemaker, Mona dedicated herself to nurturing her loved ones and creating a warm, welcoming home. She was truly the heart of her family, always putting others first and leading with love. Mona's grandchild was the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them, filling their days with laughter and joy. She had a passion for fishing and an eye for flowers, finding happiness in the simple pleasures that life had to offer.

Mona was deeply rooted in her faith, and her love for the Lord guided her through all of life’s ups and downs. She had a remarkable ability to uplift everyone around her, making her family and friends feel cherished and valued.

Mona is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, Harold Siracusa; son, Ronnie Anonthy Lake Sr., and significant other, Brenda Stratton; step-daughter, Angie Vega and husband Florentino Vega Jr.; grandchildren, Ronnie Anthony Lake Jr., and Adelyne Hayes; step-grandchildren, Ashton Vega and Antonio Vega; siblings, Janis Boudreaux, Larry Boudreaux, and Lona Boudreaux; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pos and Daisey Boudreaux; brother, Lawrence Joseph Boudreaux Jr.; nephews, Brian Lawrence Boudreaux and Lawrence Joseph Topham; numerous aunts and uncles.
