Ollie Faye Solar

It is with profound Sadness that we announce the passing of Ollie Faye Solar, born on March 17, 1947, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Ollie departed this life on March 19, 2026 in Thibodaux, Louisiana, Surrounded by family at the age of 79.

Ollie found great joy in playing computer games and connecting with friends online. She cherished these moments, which brought her joy and companionship throughout her Ife.

ollie was known for her immense love for animals, particularly her beloved dog, Midnight, she brought joy and companionship into her life. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her household, as she held a deep affection for her faith, which Sustained her throughout her life.

ollie is survived by one sister Aretta Ruth Hare, her stepchildren Rebecca Percle(Toby), Tammy Mayon(Donald Jr), Kim Breaux(Joe), and John Pitts, her daughters Jackie Romanski, Janie Gibbs (Richard), Jeanie Wilcoxson (Nathan). She is also remembered by her grandchildren: Joseph Breaux III, Jordan Granger, Jean Granger, Blade Ballard, Hallee Ballard, Nolan McNabb, Kaylee Vargo, Andree Romanski, Tommy Johnson, Jessica Cunningham, Travis Johnson, Chloie Johnson, Raylee Johnson, Brittney Bradley, Brittany Crosby, Chelsie Jackson, and Kirsty Solar who was not only her granddaughter but also her caregiver, and numerous great grandchildren who will forever carry her Spirit in their hearts.

Ollie was preceded in death by her parents, Rubin and Susan Stinnett, her husband Emile Solar, one son John Thomas Floyd, her sisters Dorothy Green, Ruby Smith, Beulah Mae McCollum, and her brothers Albert Stinnett, Lawson Stinnett, Jackson Stinnett, and Billy Stinnett.
