Paul Matthias Haeuber

Paul Matthias Haeuber, 92, a resident of Patterson, passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 17, 2022 at The Suites at Sugar Mill Point in Houma.

Paul was born October 31, 1929, in Mascoutah, IL, the son of George Haeuber Sr. and Catherine Herr Haeuber.

Paul proudly served in the U.S Airforce. He was an avid swimmer and swam every day in his younger years. Paul loved his precious fur baby, Susie.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his brothers-in-law, Bob Hunter and wife Carolyn of Chickasha, OK; William “Bill” Hunter and wife Colleen of Patterson.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, George Haeuber Sr. and Catherine; his wife, Patsy Hunter Haeuber; two brothers, George Haeuber Jr. and Kenneth Haeuber.

The family would also like to give a special thanks to the staff at The Suites at Sugar Mill Point in Houma for showing so much care and compassion for Paul.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2022 at Twin City Funeral Home with Father Francis Kayaye officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 at Twin City Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services. After services, Paul will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery Mausoleum, where Military Honors will be rendered by the East St. Mary Funeral Squad and Keesler Airforce base.
