Ramona Ann Kullman, 71, a resident of Morgan City, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 7, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Ramona was born October 24, 1954, the daughter of Oran James Steiner Sr. and Verna Alleman Steiner.
Ramona was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to nurturing her family and friends. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—traveling to new places, playing blackjack at the casino, and, most cherished of all, spending time with her grandbabies, who were her whole world. Her strong faith guided her through life, providing her with strength and comfort. In her community, Ramona was known for her compassionate nature and willingness to lend a hand, particularly during her time volunteering at the Morgan City Nursing Home. Her cheerful presence and genuine care brought joy to those around her, leaving a lasting impact on the lives she touched.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, James Kullman Jr.; mother, Verna Steiner; two daughters, Dana Kullman and wife Sarah, Julie Kullman Wiggins and husband Thomas; grandchildren, Antoine Pennison Jr. and wife Hailey, Trevor Wiggins, and Nicholas Wiggins; step-grandchildren, Chloe Zarate, Isaac Zarate, and Juliet Zarate; great-grandson, Parker James Pennison; brother, Oran Steiner Jr. and partner John Valdez; sister, Betty Durand; mother-in-law, Dolores Kullman.
Ramona was preceded in death by her father, Oran James Steiner Sr., sister, Carolyn Ann Steiner; brother-in-law, Keith Durand; father-in-law, James Kullman Sr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Brett Lapeyrouse officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. After Mass, Ramona will be laid to rest in Morgan City Mausoleum.
