Randy Ellis Tisdale Sr.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Randy Ellis Tisdale Sr., a cherished member of the Morgan City community. Born on August 5, 1956, in Morgan City, LA.

Randy “The Great White Hunter” had a passion for the outdoors, often spending his time hunting and fishing. His love for nature and his family defined him, and his memory will forever be treasured in their hearts.

Randy was known for his passion for the water, often seen navigating the waves on his boat, truly in his element. In addition to his love for the sea, he also enjoyed exploring the world through travel, cherishing the experiences and memories made during his adventures.

Randy was quite the car enthusiast, particularly fond of Corvettes he had a famous saying if you slipping, you ain’t gripping.

Randy was a co-founder of Coastwide Electric a marine electrical company and dedicated his career to the electrical industry. His passion and hard work have left a lasting impact on those around him.

Randy will be fondly remembered by his wife of ten years Angel Tisdale, his sister Sherrel Allemond and husband Johnny, son Randy Tisdale Jr. and wife Sheremy, daughter Courtney Stone and husband Terry, brother Keith Tisdale and wife Karen, stepson Matthew Gaudet and wife Sherine, stepdaughter Heather Chiasson and husband Jeremy, and his sister-in-law Becky Tisdale. He was also a beloved uncle to Emily Allemond, Zachary Allemond, and Chris Tisdale Jr. Randy’s memory will live on through his grandchildren Ethan Tisdale, Ellisyn Tisdale, Tyler Stone and wife Sabrina, Cameron Stone, Peyton Chiasson, Anthony Chiasson, Jayden Chiasson, Noah Chiasson, Anastasia Gaudet, John Gaudet, and baby Iris Stone. 

A Funeral Service in honor of Randy Ellis Tisdale Sr. will be held at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Amelia, LA on August 13, 2024, with visitation from 10:00am to 11:00am and service at 11:00 am. Following the service, Randy will be laid to rest in St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery.
