Reina Hunter

Reina Marie Hunter, born August 5, 2023, in Franklin, Louisiana, resident of Morgan City, LA, brought immeasurable joy and love to the hearts of her family. Sadly, at only three months of age, she departed this world on November 19, 2023, leaving a profound impact during her brief time with us. Though baby Reina’s journey was short, her presence was a gift that touched the lives of those who held her close. Her smiles, giggles, and the pure innocence she radiated brought warmth to the hearts of her family.

Baby Reina is survived by her grieving parents, Kayla Aucoin and Roderick Hunter. Baby Reina is also lovingly remembered by her maternal grandmother, Monique Aucoin; paternal grandmother, Tammae Hunter, maternal grandfathers, Michael Rich and Anothony Beard; her siblings, Bree Bias, Talaya Aucoin, Tatum Aucoin, Ryelle Aucoin, Rynlee Hunter, Rylynn Hunter; godparents, Tierra Hunter and Alyssa Rich who mourn her lost deeply.

She joins her maternal great-great grandmother, Irma Aucoin; paternal great-grandmother, Barbera Charlot; great-great grandmother, Dorohty Gray; grandfather, Roderick Charlot in eternal rest.

Reina is also deeply missed by numerous great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives, and friends who loved Reina very much.

Active pallbearers are Donald LaCoste Jr. and Tatum Aucoin.

In the face of this unimaginable loss, the family finds solace in the cherished moments spent with baby Reina. The love she shared even in her short time, will forever remain etched in their hearts.

The gathering for family and friends will be held to celebrate baby Reina’s life on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at Twin City Funeral Home, in Morgan City.
