Rita Mae Gros

Rita Mae Gros, 74, a resident of Morgan City, passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Morgan City Health Care.

Rita Mae was born January 23, 1946, in Morgan City, the daughter of Aurleain Gros and Bernice Chiasson Gros.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son, Hilton Autin Jr.; seven siblings, Linda Daigle, Doris Bergeron, Lorraine Stott, Patsy Blancaneaux, Junius Gros, Villary “V.A.” Gros, Shirley Alleman.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Aurleain and Bernice Gros; nine siblings, Linberg Gros, Wilbert Gros, Evelyn Hernandez, Anna Mae Hymel, Gertrude Scully, Laurie Gros, Daniel Gros, and Anna Bell Miller.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Twin City Funeral Home with Father Henry officiating. A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services, Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Twin City Funeral Home.
