Ronald Joseph East Sr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Joseph East Sr. on February 13, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on March 29, 1955, in Morgan City, Louisiana, Ronald lived a life full of hard work and love, making his home in Berwick, Louisiana, where he touched the lives of those around him.

A talented propeller repairman in the marine industry, Ron was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. He was the anchor for many, always ready with a helping hand or a listening ear.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Catherine East, his sister Amanda Rodrigue, and his brother Roy East. His spirit will also live on through his adored granddaughter, Payton East. Also numerous nieces and nephews.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Ivy East Sr., Leona East, son, Ronald East Jr., brothers, Michael East, Ivy East Jr., sister, Annabelle Duval

A Mass will be held at a later date.
