Russel Joseph Andras

Russel Joseph Andras, 82, a resident of Stephensville, passed away peacefully August 29, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Russel was born October 20, 1939 in Thibodaux, the son of Alfred Andras and Beatrice Bernard Andras.

Russel opened ABL Fabricators in 1981 and it is still open today. He was a hard worker and enjoyed his job and the people he worked with. Russel also worked offshore. Russel was a generous man, who helped anyone in need. He loved his Swamp Pop Music and fishing.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Thelma Chaisson Andras of Thibodaux; five children, Dale Andras, Randall Andras, Darla Andras, Dwayne Andras and wife Lisa, and Russell “Joe” Andras; sister, Barbara Leche; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his fur-baby, Cooper.

Russel was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Beatrice Andras.
