Sam Luke Carline

Sam Luke Carline passed away in his home Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at the age of 62.

Sam was born in Morgan City in 1957.  He went to St. Stanislaus High School in Bay St. Louis, MS and attended University of South Louisiana before starting a career in business.

A sentimental free spirit, outdoors man and entrepreneur, Sam was a complicated man who enjoyed life. Sam had a passion for the Saints and never missed a game or a chance to cheer them on. He had a quick wit, an infectious smile, and was a kind and compassionate friend.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family including his only daughter, Estacia Huddleston of Arroyo Hondo, New Mexico; two brothers, Mark M. Carline and wife Madel of Ethel, Louisiana and Byron J. Carline and wife Shanie of Berwick, Louisiana. Sam is survived by a large family and many friends. Sam was preceded in death by his parents Ivan and Barbara Fabre Carline.

A time of remembrance will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City.
