Vernon Billiot, age 42, of Morgan City, LA, passed away on October 14, 2026. He was born on August 21st, 1984, to Joyce Wilson and Edwine Billiot.

Vernon was a lost soul who was often misunderstood but he touched the hearts of everyone he met. He was a kind, loving person who just wanted more than anything to feel and be loved by someone. His greatest accomplishment that he was most proud of are his three children Makinley, Natalie, and Malachi.

He is survived by his parents Joyce Wilson, Edwine Billiot, and Anita Billiot; his three children, Makinley, Natalie, and Malachi Billiot; and his siblings Heather Billiot, Tabatha Leblanc, Allison Hollier, and Dexter Billiot.

Vernon felt that life was a struggle and a fight, but he doesn't have to fight anymore. He is now in a place where he no longer has to fight and can be at peace and rest.

He will forever be in the hearts of everyone he has met. He will be loved and missed but never forgotten.

His celebration of life and remembrance will be held at Lake End Fürk in Morgan City, LA on October 25th. We ask that everyone starts to show up around 11:30, we plan for it to be an all day thing. Please dress casually and comfortably for the outdoors.
