Yvette Lejeune Ardoin, 56, a resident of Bayou L’Ourse, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at her home.
Yvette was born October 27, 1964, in Morgan City, the daughter of Arthur Lejeune and Elsie “Rere” Lejeune.
Yvette enjoyed having company over to watch the LSU and Saints Games, while playing Booray. She also enjoyed fishing. She loved spending time with her grandson, Eli; she was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and will be missed dearly.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Paige Ardoin of Ville Platte; companion, David Blount of Bayou L’Ourse; two brothers, Alvin Lejeune and companion Betty Davis of Amelia; Michael Lejeune and wife Lynn of Houston, TX., one sister, Bernadette Hebert and partner Mary Faulk of Berwick; one grandson, Eli Landry.
Yvette was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Elsie Lejeune; two brothers, Darren and Tony Lejeune; two sisters, Elizabeth Pilgrim and her husband Calvin, Angie Lejeune.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m., Friday, March 12, 2021 at Twin City Funeral Home, with Father Henry Sebastian officiating. A memorial visitation will be held March 12, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Twin City Funeral Home.
