Judy Ann Stratton Leal

Judy Ann Stratton Leal, 78, a resident of Bayou L’Ourse, passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge.

Judy was born August 11, 1944, the daughter of Ernest Stratton and Enora Aucoin.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her four children, Rebecca Ann Leal and significant other Leroy Verrett of Gray, Jose “Joe” Leal Jr. and wife JoAnn of Pierre Part, Cardell Leal and wife Glenda of Bayou L’Ourse, Jessica Marie Gaspar and husband Matthew of Gibson; eight siblings, Wayne Stratton and wife Tina, Patricia “Patsy Lombas, Cotina May Poche, Dawn Burgos, Melony Stratton, Shelly Stratton, Moses Stratton, and Ida Stratton; sister-in-law, Elaine Stratton; 17 grandchildren,  Stacey Grimball, Samantha Kitchen, Brandon Desormeaux, Aaron Desormeaux, Tabitha Leal, Jose Leal III, Jeremy Leal, Kimberly Leal, Regan Caldwell, Brandi Bergeron, Chanc Leal, Sable Leal, Ashleigh Leal, Amy Leal, Victoria Leal, Cardell Leal Jr., Christopher Leal; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, George Ribardi Jr.; husband, Jose V. Leal; two sisters, Cindy Sue Stratton and Lisa Ann Sons; two brothers, Ernest Stratton and Lonnie Stratton; granddaughter, Jasmine Morgan.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Twin City Funeral Home with Brother Charlie Driskell officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Twin City Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m., until the time of services.
